g.on aimPort – New Features

Our product developpers are always busy with the further improvement of g.on aimPort, especially in terms of user-friendliness. Even the best software can always be optimized. Read about the latest updates.

        Freely configurable global footer / application-specific footer
      Websites (internal as well as external) are often subject to certain regulations that are explained in terms of use, data privacy statements, within the imprint, and so on. With aimPort, such regulations can be globally configured in the footer for the entire web application. Also, they may appear depending on the topic. In general, each client has different standards, so that we emphasized flexible content and layout, when implementing this feature.

    Print Function (all except map printing)  
      Each page in aimPort can now be printed in an attractive layout via the native browser print functionality. This can be done after few CSS configuration steps.

    Enhanced layout options in the table of contents  
      The layout of the hit list was revised and streamlined.

    Evaluation via charts  
      Charts can be shown in the detail view for the graphical visualization of data sets (numerical series). No wasting of resources by Control rendering via browser on the client per Javascript.  
          o Supports any number of numerical series within a chart
    o Filtering by selecting a time period
    o Zoom-in by selecting a chart section via mouse click
    o Values can be shown permanently or per mouse-over
    o Design can be adapted via CSS or configuration file

    Improved Editing functionality for geometry  
          o Improved performance

    Improved Routing  
          o Measuring values
    o Routing by considering restrictions for trucks
    o Routing with intermediate points
    o Constriction of streets to defined means of transport

    Enhancement of aimPort-DMS: Document storage in the database  
      Alternatively to using the file system, documents can be stored directly in the Oracle database. This allows for centralized document storage and simplifies access to files when using clustering. In addition, the storage of graphical files as ORD image is possible. Among others the generation of preview images (thumbnails).
