g.on provides tender specifications for Association of German Airports
The Association of German Airports (ADV) supports Passenger Airports in Germany when realizing the latest regulations of the European Commission for the standardization of aviation data.
g.on received the order to create the tender specifications for the systems to be used for this purpose.
In January 2010, the EU introduced its regulation 73/2010. The “Aeronautical Data Quality (ADQ) Implementing Rule” demands standardized data portals for the management and viewing of data within the traffic segment aviation, known to be especially security-sensitive. Similar portals have already been in use at some major airports. Now, all of them, also the smaller ones have to organize an appropriate software equipment.
g.on has a deep knowhow about “Airport Infrastructure and Asset Managing Portals”. This fact convinced ADV to commission our company to create the tender specifications for the systems. The project kick-off was held in Muenster. On May 22 and 23, nine representatives of several German airports have been our guests. Further workshops will be held on-site at different German passenger airports, under the guidance of g.on experts.
We will keep you posted.
